Sygic iPhone navigation apps updated with free map update and more

Sygic Mobile
Maps navigation app for iPhone has just receivedan extensive update including
new maps, speed limits, POIs and signposts. The updated apps for North America,
Europe and Russia are already live at iTunes, and available as a free download
to all users who are already using the application. The rest of the regional
apps are under review and the new versions will appear in iTunes App Store
within short time.

- a free map update with improved road coverage, house numbers coverage, updated speed limits, updated signposts (note, that Mobile Maps Australia & New Zealand has received a limited extent of map update, for details read below*)
- added new restaurants and other points of interest
- music does not mute before the voice instruction, it just decreases volume
- improved navigation to addresses stored in Contacts by added ZIP code search and company search
- connecting the iPhone to a car audio will not mute voice instructions
- radio apps playing in the background will not mute when navigating

Mobile Maps North America & US:
- New maps added in Mexico covering Tlahuac, Chimalhuacan and Cuernavaca.
- No need to select the state each time when setting destination.
- The application will not keep instructing you to go straight ahead on a straight route.
Mobile Maps Europe:
- Greece and Ukraine added to the package
Mobile Maps Russia:
- added inter-passage roads enabling door-to-door navigation in apartment blocks
- added thousands of new restaurants, petrol stations and other points of interest
Mobile Maps Australia & New Zealand:
- *Free map update is limited to navigation now enabled via Tasman Bridge, Hume Highway and Lane Cove Tunnel.
- Added 200.000 new restaurants, petrol stations and other points of interest
Mobile Maps South East Asia:
- added 100% road coverage of Brunei for street level navigation
- added thousands of new restaurants, petrol stations and other points of interest
- added Chinese instruction voices (Mandarin, Cantonese and Taiwanese), Chinese user interface languages (Traditional and Simplified) and Chinese text input (Zhu Yin and Pin Yin)

Australia & New Zealand, South East Asia (incl. Brunei, Thailand, Singapore,
Malaysia and Indonesia), Brazil, Colombia, North America (incl. USA, Canada
& Mexico), US, Complete Europe, UK & Ireland, Russia and Gulf Countries
(Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates).
Sygic Mobile Maps is compatible with Nokia Maemo 5 OS and the product will be
available from Sygic web site e-shop by the end of 2009.
