Sygic ranks 4th in Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 Central Europe 2010
November 3, 2010

Sygic is the fourth fastest growing technology company among entities
from 13 countries of Central and Eastern Europe, according to
Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 this year.
In the past two years, Sygic was awarded number 6 in the subcategory
Rising Stars of the prestigious Technology Fast 50 Central Europe program by
Deloitte, which is ranking and awarding the fastest growing companies from
13 countries of Central and Eastern Europe. In 2010 Sygic surpassed five years
of its existence and moved from Rising Stars subcategory into the Main category,
where it reached the rank number 4 at a growth rate of 1917%, based on its
revenue growth between 2005 and 2009.
„I would like to give my thanks and this honour to the whole team of
Sygic. We are very proud to rank this high in the main category of the Deloitte
Fast 50, considering the large amount and variety of competing companies. It
makes us confident that we are on the right track with our product development
and services.“ says Michal Stencl, Sygic's CEO.
The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 program was started in Silicon Valley,
California in 1995 and has expanded into a Technology Fast 500 in North
America, Asia-Pacific and Europe. This program operates independently in 17
countries outside of the United States and in one region - Central Europe. The
Central European Technology Fast 50 ranks fast-growing technology companies in
the Czech Republic, Hungary, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Slovakia, Bulgaria,
Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Lithuania.
Besides the main category awarding top Technology Fast 50 companies, there are
two subcategories to this program: 10 top Rising Stars, ranking companies
younger than 5 years, and the Big 5, ranking companies with minimum annual
revenue EUR 25 million.
