Sygic's GPS navigation app breaks 100,000 downloads per month at Android Market

Downloads of Sygic's GPS navigation application for Android phone users
has exceeded the figure of 100,000 in the first month after its launch at the
end of 2010 at Android market. The product is available as a 7-day free trial
and covers regions on four continents.
Sygic's full-featured car navigation Aura 2.1 with 3D content has enjoyed
more than 100,000 downloads from Android Market in a month. „We are very
happy about this achievement and glad to see, that our constant innovative
approach is having a good reception by our users. We squeezed out the most of
the advancing technological performance of the hardware by our application, and
the cool Android phones like Samsung Galaxy S, HTC Desire HD, Sony Ericsson
Experia X10 and Motorola Droid X make use of it till the last drop.“ says

Sygic Aura 2.1 for Android is a turn-by-turn car navigation with voice guidance
in more than 20 languages, real-time traffic, lane assistant, extensive lists
of POIs, speed limits and speed cameras, real 3D content and landmarks in the
most popular cities, 3D terrain, and further features for comfort and safety
when driving. Sygic Aura offers comprehensive search options and route planning
options, including multi-stop route or route demonstration. The route
calculation and re-calculations are instant, and the app uses the latest
technology by utilizing 3D acceleration chips of the mobile devices, making the
map movement smooth. Sygic Aura gets the maximum out of the latest smartphones
also by adapting automatically to their native screen resolution and providing
crisp-clear hi-res navigation graphics to the user. After the driver reaches the
destination, he/she can enjoy many extras directly from within the applicaton,
like for example city guides, pedestrian navigation with easy orientation in
real 3D view, stopwatch for outdoor activities, or sharing geo-tagged statuses
on Facebook.
The user installs the application and then downloads all or selected maps to the mobile phone.

South East Asia: Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei,
Philippines.
