What kind of phone do I need to run the application?
Family by Sygic works on iPhone and Android devices.
How can I be located?
Family by Sygic uses Wi-Fi, mobile internet and GPS to locate you. The app does not need to know your mobile phone number to function, nor does it send notifications using SMS messages. Instead your email address is used to send free Apple/Google Push Notifications. These notifications are free and specific to Family by Sygic application. Notifications work anywhere
in the world as long as the device has internet access via the cellular network or WiFi.
Can I be located without my knowledge/permission?
You cannot be located without your permission. You and everybody in your family using the app will need to give us your explicit permission by installing our app and logging into it.
Does Family by Sygic drain the device battery a lot?
Because it is important that Family by Sygic app is accurate, your device´s GPS system is used to relay your current position
as you move. This will run the battery down more than normal.
Is Family by Sygic collecting personal information about me?
Family by Sygic allows sharing information only within your family. Family by Sygic will never share any of your information
with third parties.
