A reliable product and exceptional support from Sygic Business Solutions team is the most compelling reason why we would recommend Sygic Navigation.
Signing a partnership with Sygic is for us something quite logical, we can now enable our customers to benefit from our services, while benefiting from Sygic professional solutions.
Sygic has been the first choice for the Vehco Group in recent years.
Sygic Professional Navigation software is up to date, it is dedicated for trucks with possibility to enter truck or cargo parameters and, needless to say, it is convenient.
Sygic Professional Navigation was the best, and remains the best, navigation system for trucks and for normal cars in the market.
Sygic has certainly made a great contribution to our customers’ travel time that has reduced by as much as 60%.
The navigation may run as a separate application, but is still fully controlled by the integrator’s application.
As needed, the navigation screen can be “hidden” by the application (allowing the driver to access other instructions as he reaches his destination) or brought on top (to navigate the driver to the next waypoint).
- Full online functionality
- Automatic activation
In complex systems, where it is required, the navigation can be a part of the integrator’s application, taking up only a portion of the screen.
Sygic Professional Navigation may run in embedded mode inside an application both in Windows and Android operating systems.
- Full ownership of the navigation as a component
- The integrator handles the activation, updates and application management
Integration using Sidebar
Through the Sidebar display component, you can share your information or provide a dedicated user interaction on the navigation screen.
The Sidebar can be freely constructed from a set of predefined and configurable widgets. Your application can control the widgets in the navigation via the Sidebar API library functions and classes. The Sidebar library delivers the function calls to Sygic Navigation via AIDL and receives callbacks in the opposite direction.
Integration with Head-up Display
It is possible to integrate the navigation to display instructions on dashboard units or external HUD displays.
The HUD API shows the following from the navigation: shape of the next turn, distance to the next turn, distance to the destination, ETA, current speed limit, traffic delays on route, speeding, current street, next street, and lane information.
Custom URL integration
Custom-URL is a light-weight type of integration usually used when other integration methods are not possible or needed.
This method of integration does not offer events and callbacks, but still provides some functions to manage navigation remotely, to control the activation process or to update installation.

Sygic Truck routing offers the latest truck specific maps and routes. It automatically avoids all roads unsuitable for trucks, special cargoes, or hazardous materials by setting the vehicle’s parameters and truck-related attributes.
Set parameters of your vehicles like: vehicles length, height, width, etc.
Navigation allowing vehicles with special permission to enter pedestrian zones and roads closed to regular vehicles to get to the incident faster.
Navigation application with special maps that contain taxi lanes and other features for better and faster service.
Sygic Guided routes feature helps to avoid discrepancies between planned and travelled kilometres. This feature offers the possibility to import routes from your planning tool into Sygic Navigation app. You can import routes in JSON format, generated by external tools such as PTV xServer or Google Maps.
The navigation suppresses its own routing algorithm and rather accepts the directions provided by the planning tool. This way driver can follow the route exactly as planned by a 3rd party planning or optimization tool avoiding any undesired driving deviations.
Turn-by-turn voice instructions & automatic rerouting
Timely turn indicators with precise distance to each maneuver will guide you to your destination. If you miss a turn, our smart algorithm will immediately recalculate to get you back on your way. It offers the possibility to set route preference for the most economical routing.
Spoken Street Names (TTS)
Sygic Professional Navigation provides voice instructions using text-to-speech (TTS) technology, including street names, so the driver’s eyes never have to leave the road.
Most accurate Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA)
The calculation of the arrival time is based on historical data measurements of traffic intensity for different times of day, which makes the ETA highly accurate.
Time domains for delivery
Sygic Professional Navigation will guide the driver to the delivery location within the allowed time period.
In the event that the delivery zone is not accessible to vehicles, the navigation will suggest the closest reachable destination.
Real time traffic information
Real-time warnings about traffic jams and the duration of the delay are provided.
These help the driver to avoid delays on the route, save fuel and have exact ETAs for time-critical assignments.
*Requires network connection.
Most powerful Cloud-based Route Optimization
The fastest and most effective route optimization for an unlimited number of waypoints accessible directly from Sygic Navigation.
Sygic Professional Navigation route optimization promises up to 10% reduction in distances driven.
*Requires network connection.
Itineraries with Time Windows
Easy management of routes with multiple waypoints, where each waypoint can have a predefined time window and a stop time.
The improved route summary window displays the list of waypoints with provided time windows, stop times, ETA information to each waypoint and alerts in case of delays.
Speed cameras database
If the driver exceeds the speed limit while approaching a fixed speed camera, Sygic Professional Navigation alerts the driver and indicates the speed limit.
The feature is also available in online mode, where it constantly updates the driver about new mobile camera locations and warns him whenever a new speed trap appears on the route.
*Requires network connection.
*This service is forbidden in certain countries.
Preferred right turn
Preferred right turn off
Preferred right turn on
The preferred right turn (left in countries and territories with left hand traffic) functionality of the Sygic Professional Navigation routing algorithm suggests routes that avoid time-consuming and dangerous left turns at intersections against incoming traffic.
Reach the destination on the right side of the road
When specifying a house number while inputting a destination, the navigation can calculate the route in order to allow the driver to reach the destination on the right side of the road.
Allows vehicle hardware producers to bring the navigation interface into the driver’s line of sight by linking directly with the navigation functions, and projecting the route information onto a built-in screen on the dashboard or other display systems.
Enables a screensaver mode that turns off the navigation screen on highways to reduce battery drain.
The navigation screen reappears 5 km before the next turn or can be reactivated by simple tap on the screen.
When driving at night, Sygic Professional Navigation Night mode turns on automatically to preserve night vision while driving.
Geofences & Custom map overlay
Allows areas on a map (geofence polygons) to be highlighted and to track vehicles and assets present in this area.
The navigation notifies the driver and the dispatcher in real time if the driver crosses the border and about his presence inside the geofence.
Visualize various GIS layers (e.g. infrastructure lines, pipe network, or unmapped roads, etc.) on the Sygic Navigation map using the custom geometry files.
Companies, which need to navigate their drivers on roads not mapped on standard maps, such as private or lease roads, can import their map content onto Sygic Professional Navigation.
Conflated maps can provide customers with voice-guided navigation from the city directly to assets on their own roads like for example oil wells.
Import custom POIs
Add custom points of interest (POIs) to the navigation maps. You can very easily find the nearest POI from your current position and get navigated to this waypoint.
Fleets that need mutual visibility of vehicles can share the position of other co-workers directly on the navigation screen while navigating.
API SDK & Documentation
