Delivering Reliability Across Europe
For Rüdinger, reliability defines their logistics operations. Based in Germany, the transport and logistics company manages an extensive fleet of 220 vehicles, operating across Europe to deliver precision and punctuality on every route. With a focus on efficiency, safety, and process transparency, Rüdinger continuously invests in technology that simplifies operations for both drivers and dispatchers.
When it came to professional navigation, Rüdinger sought a solution that would do more than simply guide drivers from point to point. It had to work easily with their telematics system, support professional vehicle profiles, and reduce unnecessary manual steps in daily operations. That’s how Sygic Professional Navigation became a natural fit within their ecosystem.
The Move Toward Integration
Rüdinger’s digital journey with Sygic began when the company transitioned from earlier telematics tools to a more flexible, Android-based environment. Their former system relied heavily on limited integrations, but Sygic’s compatibility and clear implementation process made the switch easy.
“Back when our telematics system was less advanced, Sygic was the only navigation solution that could connect automatically with our platform,” recalls Ara Avetisjan, responsible for Vehicle Data Communication at Rüdinger. “That early experience built trust, and many of our drivers still prefer Sygic today.”
Over time, the collaboration evolved. Today, 160 of Rüdinger’s 220 vehicles use Sygic Professional Navigation, an adoption rate driven primarily by driver preference and the platform’s ease of use.
From Dispatch to Delivery—No Manual Input Needed
Efficiency begins the moment a delivery order is created. Once dispatch assigns a route, all necessary data is automatically transmitted to the in-cab device through Rüdinger’s telematics system. The driver simply taps “navigate,” and the address is handed over directly to Sygic Professional Navigation.
There’s no need to retype destinations or cross-check addresses. This integration not only eliminates manual input but also minimizes the chance of data entry errors, saving valuable time during busy loading and delivery schedules.
“Drivers appreciate that they don’t have to type anything,” says Avetisjan. “The navigation just starts. It’s smooth and straightforward.”

Designed for Trucks, Built for Safety
Unlike generic navigation tools, Sygic’s professional truck profiles are designed with heavy vehicles in mind. Routes are calculated to consider height, weight, and other key restrictions that ensure drivers stay compliant and vehicles stay safe.
Rüdinger’s trucks, some reaching up to four meters in height, depend on this precision every day.
“Sygic helps our drivers avoid low underpasses or unsuitable side roads, it prevents costly mistakes before they happen,” Avetisjan explains. “That gives both our drivers and our operations team peace of mind.”
This specialized routing plays a crucial role in Rüdinger’s cross-border operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and vehicle safety in every country the fleet serves.
A Familiar Tool for Diverse Users
Rüdinger’s drivers represent a wide range of experience levels when it comes to digital systems. Some are highly proficient with advanced navigation features, while others prefer minimal interaction with settings.
“Sygic offers a rich set of features, and that’s great,” says Avetisjan. “But we must balance between giving drivers flexibility and keeping the interface intuitive.”
To support this balance, Rüdinger encourages simple practices, such as clearing previous destinations before starting new routes, to maintain clarity and prevent confusion. The team is also exploring profile-based settings that could further streamline the experience for drivers who prefer a simplified view.
Maintaining secure, standardized devices, all navigation updates are deployed centrally. The fleet’s Android units operate without personal accounts, preventing misuse while maintaining full control over software versions and configurations.

Collaboration That Drives Progress
One of the aspects Rüdinger values most about working with Sygic is the open communication between teams. Whether it’s feedback from drivers or technical questions from IT, the company can rely on direct contact with knowledgeable Sygic specialists.
“Our collaboration is straightforward; we can reach the right people quickly and get answers that matter,” notes Avetisjan. “That saves time and helps us keep our drivers supported.”
This partnership mindset extends beyond technical support. Product feedback from Rüdinger contributes to Sygic’s ongoing development roadmap, ensuring that navigation features continue to upgrade alongside the real-world needs of professional fleets.
Continuous Improvement, Shared Vision
Rüdinger is currently expanding its logistics capacity, and navigation reliability remains a key part of that growth. Future plans include greater automation in system management and further simplification for drivers who rely on clear, distraction-free interfaces.
For Avetisjan, the value lies in consistency: “Drivers know what to expect. Sygic works as intended, every day, that’s what we need.”
A Partnership Built on Trust and Practicality
The collaboration between Rüdinger and Sygic reflects what modern logistics demands: a combination of dependable technology, direct communication, and continuous optimization. The navigation supports an entire operational rhythm, from dispatch to delivery.
